The generous donors who support the Piqua Community Foundation live out the sentiments expressed above. I am continually impressed by the memorial contributions and gifts we receive that are given to help others with no strings attached. Our distribution committee spends hours reviewing grant applications to select those that will most effectively touch the lives of people we don’t know but whose lives we would like to help improve. In every grant cycle, the committee presents our board of directors with a diverse list of recommendations – to touch the lives of Piqua citizens of all ages, races, religious beliefs and socio-economic levels. A list of the most recent grantees appears on the Grants page, and articles that highlight just of few of the grants made recently can be found on the News page. Foundation supporters can feel justifiably proud of the differences being made every day by their contributions. The time for our annual giving campaign is fast approaching.
