Grant Information INFORMATION FOR GRANT APPLICANTS The Piqua Community Foundation accepts grant applications from any charitable not-for-profit organization meeting the following criteria:
The Foundation makes Mini-Grants (of $500 or less) and
Standard Grants (more than $500) twice each year.
YEA! Grants (Youth Enrichment Activities
Grants) of up to $1000 are made once each year, with support from the
Jacob G. Schmidlapp Trusts, Fifth Third Bank, Trustee. The focus of YEA!
Grants should be innovative, inventive programming to benefit
youth in the Piqua area. The program or project should be for an activity
beyond that already being provided in the school or organization. The
Foundation is looking for creative programs not able to be funded within
the existing budget. Required follow-up reporting may include a brief
presentation of the project and its outcomes for Foundation donors. Deadline
for YEA! Grants is September 15 each year. Applications must be presented using the Community Foundation’s grant application forms. Mini-Grant and Grant applications are available by calling, writing, faxing or emailing the Foundation office using the numbers and addresses listed below. Completed applications must be delivered personally or by mail, and are not accepted by email or fax. Incomplete applications will not be considered. The Foundation does not make grants to an organization, project or program in consecutive years. In most cases, The Foundation does not make grants for salaries or for general operating expenses. Applicants are invited to contact
the Foundation’s executive director with any questions or concerns.
