Foundation Fund Supports Lehman Catholic
The Piqua Community Foundation is pleased to announce the creation of
a new named fund in June 2005. The Foundation received an endowment to
establish the Lehman High School Foundation Fund. The new fund’s
purpose is to furnish monies for the benefit of the Lehman Foundation,
which provides for building needs and tuition assistance for students.
The Lehman Foundation includes a faculty salary endowment, to bring salary
levels closer to those available in public school systems.
This agency endowment fund marks the first collaboration
with Lehman Catholic, which provides a values-based secondary education
to students from Piqua, Sidney, and the surrounding areas. Lehman Catholic
is the only North Central accredited, non-public high school in a six-county
area. Contributions to the Lehman High School Foundation Fund can be directed
to The Piqua Community Foundation at PO Box 226, Piqua.
