The Piqua Community Foundation encourages charitable giving to benefit the citizens of Piqua, and provides a variety of methods for donors to help fulfill their charitable giving wishes.

SCHOLARSHIPS

The Piqua Community Foundation facilitates several scholarships.

The Piqua Community Foundation offers several scholarships to graduating high school seniors. Those graduating from high school in 2019 may check this page beginning in January 2019.

Little Kinger Scholarship

The Little Kinger Fund is a non-profit organization established for the purpose of collecting and distributing funds to provide opportunities for girls to participate in athletics.

Required for the scholarship are:

  • Application (Available January 2019)
  • Two letters of recommendation (from a coach and a teacher)
  • Personal statement
  • Signatures from Guidance Counselor and applicant
  • Signed follow up information sheet
  • Confirmation letter from coach or athletic department of college/university

 

G. William Hartzell Scholarship

The G. W. Hartzell Charitable Fund makes scholarships to graduating high school seniors and to students already enrolled as undergraduates in a college or university. General criteria for selection include leadership achievement, scholastic achievement, financial need and character assessment.
